Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because... (I'm struggling to see why this should be deleted? The claims against the page made last year was that Lithuania had not played in international tournaments but this was wrong - Lithuania competed in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers of 2008. They have also competed in a number of other tour events, recent ones listed, covered and recognised by and affiliated with the Lithuanian Football Federation, as can be seen on their website. Beach Soccer Worldwide, the governing body for beach soccer, also lists the Lithuanian team on their site against events played in.) --TurboGUY (talk) 00:58, 23 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
