Inclusion of Ghosts by Henrik Ibsen[edit]

At least 7 separate stagings of translations of Henrik Ibsen's Gengangere (Ghosts) could qualify for this list, and I am wondering about how or if other people think they should be included in this list. These are from 1903 (16 performances), 1912 (4 performances), 1915 (2 performances), 1919 (1 performance), 1923 (2 performances), 1933 (6 performances), and 1948 (9 performances, different translation). Original and revival versions of a show were included for The Goodbye People, so there is precedent for multiple versions of a play all making the list, but should this be considered as different from that because it is a sort of "canonized" work? For example, there was a production of As You Like It in 1919 that closed in a single night which has not made this list, presumably because Shakespeare is so commonly produced. What are people's opinions on this? Jrd004 (talk) 20:01, 7 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
