Records?[edit]

I know it's been mentioned in numerous sources that with 92 submissions this is a record for the longlists, but another thing worth noting is that 26 of these films are directed or co-directed by women, which I've seen touted as a record in numerous blog and social media posts but in nothing that would fit Wiki's citation criteria, so if anyone sees something that might be a worthwhile note to add to the body post 2407:7000:8318:C471:5960:605D:ECEB:E09 (talk) 20:31, 6 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
