Unacceptable[edit]

This article must surely be either WP:SYNTH or even WP:OR. I know of no source that gives an integrated classification of "plants" as a whole in the way done here. If it can't be supported, it should be removed. Peter coxhead (talk) 12:35, 28 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Nothing has changed here. Sources are needed. Also there needs to be consistency with other articles and the systems used in taxoboxes, e.g. for angiosperms, we use APG. To maintain NPOV, alternative systems would need to be presented. Deletion still seems to me the best option. Peter coxhead (talk) 16:34, 25 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Videsh Ramsahai: great to see references added. However, putting them all at the start implies that they all support the full list, which is certainly not the case for some that I know (e.g. the PPG ref). They need to be used more inline to show which groups are supported by which refs. Be careful also of WP:SYNTH. Peter coxhead (talk) 12:33, 24 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
