Draft of an article about Bidens first executive order[edit]

I created a draft for an article about Bidens first signed executive order, "Protecting the Federal Workforce and Requiring Mask-Wearing". As his first executive order, I feel it is definitely worthy of it's own article. As this is an article about Bidens executive orders, I thought I'd let everyone know I am working on a draft for that order in case anyone wants to help edit it before it is ready to be made into an actual article. The draft is at Draft:Executive Order 13991 -Greshthegreat (talk)

This is not his first executive order, per the official list on the Federal Register. TheSubmarine (talk) 17:34, 22 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
TheSubmarine, could you link that page? I've been looking for it and I can't seem to find it. Thanks! PCN02WPS (talk | contribs) 18:18, 22 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Are you sure? The Federal Register has yet to put up any of Bidens executive orders on there website. See here: https://www.federalregister.gov/presidential-documents/executive-orders/

Additionally the federal mask order was the very first order he signed on his first day in office following the inauguration, live in front of a few members of the press. Greshthegreat (talk) 18:42, 22 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like some of the numbers for a few of Bidens executive orders have been published now. Although the executive order, despite being the first one he signed, is not oficially numbered as such. Nonetheless, it is an executive order he signed, and an important one, as it requires mask wearing inside federal buildings, on federal property and on federal land, and therefore is worthy of a Wikipedia article about it. Attribution to "executive action" page and "Proclamation" page[edit]

Why is the lead section for the "executive action" page copied literally verbatim from the "proclamation" page? With no attribution? Phillip Samuel (talk) 02:54, 21 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal[edit]

I propose to merge List_of_proclamations_by_Joe_Biden into List_of_executive_actions_by_Joe_Biden. The introductory content of both pages is the same excluding the last paragraph, and the larger article already includes seven other types of executive actions. As a Wikipedia user who has bookmarked the "List of executive actions by Joe Biden" article, it is inconvenient that I have to go to a second article to see the list of proclamations. Comment The quality of both articles' introductory content notwithstanding, the split is in line with the Trump page, where it was made to maintain reasonable article length (as per WP:SPINOUT and WP:SPLITLIST). Anticipating the proclamation list for Biden to become similarly long is reasonable, I think. 79.242.146.239 (talk) 11:33, 3 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Empty sections[edit]

Empty sections do not need to clutter a page with titles "intended for future expansion". These sections need to be expanded with reliable sources so I have moved them here:
