Op. 10, Plainte de Thécla[edit]

"A song after de Bonnières and Friedrich Schiller."
I am a little curious about who this Thécla may be.
Thekla is a character in Schiller's play Wallenstein which shortly hereafter becomes d'Indy's Op. 12. But there is also a poem, "Thekla: Eine Geisterstimme".
In neither case is St. Thecla involved. (Probably.) It is simply a Christian name.
And then there is Bonnières. Presumably we are setting a text based on Schiller's poem, and something from Bonnières.
