Lethe and Styx[edit]

Why is Styx in the list of the Oceanids, but Lethe in the list of Potamoi? It seems to be quite inconsistent. Michael! (talk) 12:58, 22 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Numbers in the table, and other issues.[edit]

(@Markx121993:) I think numbering the table entries makes little sense. I see no real benefit, and it makes additions (or deletions) to the table difficult. I think that column should be removed. Paul August 19:10, 21 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Ok I will delete the numbering sequence.--Markx121993 (talk) 00:52, 22 April 2017 (UTC) (Copied from my talk page Paul August 10:48, 22 April 2017 (UTC))[reply]
(@Markx121993:) Thanks. I know you've but a lot of hard work into this table, and I thank you for that, but I have some other more serious concerns as well. It is most important that everything in the table is well sourced. In particular, I think the column of meanings of names with no sources is a serious problem. We need to either source each name's meaning, or delete it. The rest of the data needs sourcing as well, but much of it is probably included in the sources allready given, but this needs to be verified, not an easy task, and probably what should happen is each of those entries have their own sourcing added (a lot more work I know). These problems (and the required work) could be eliminated, or reduced, if we didn't try to include all this information in the table, and instead made sure that the individual Oceanid articles contained that information (with sources) instead, this would be much less work, and much easier, since most of this info will already be in the individual articles, and given the inherent difficulties involved in editing tables (as I'm sure you've become aware!) Another problem with including all this information here, is that it makes what was a relatively small and easy to display table, now rather unwieldy and difficult to display—especially on small screens!. As these issues have not been adressed, I've decided to delete the table until they are. Paul August 22:20, 26 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
