Title[edit]

A user keeps moving this article title to King of Leon (monarch). Why do you want to confuse it with the band? This title matchs all the other Iberian monarchs' article.--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 20:51, 9 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Inconsistency[edit]

This article says "In the reign of Ordoño I of Asturias (850–866), the kingdom began to be known as that of León". The article on the kingdom of León says "García [I] is the first of the kings described by the charters as reigning in León". I find all this quite confusing because it sounds to me a land called Asturias was also called León from 850 to 910, then called only León in 910 and after that. However, at the same time, Ordoño I and Alfonso III are listed as kings of León but the description says Garcia was the first king of León so I don't see why Ordoño I and Alfonso III should be listed before him.
