Massive linking without thinking?[edit]

@Lugnuts, Klõps, Pelmeen10, and Trackinfo: I try to find notability for the persons at List_of_Estonian_Athletics_Championships_winners#Decathlon. Our guideline Wikipedia:Notability_(sports)#Athletics/track_&_field_and_long-distance_running says that the athlete is notable when "Have won their country's senior national championship, with the exception of those that have never been ranked in the top 60 on the IAAF world leading list at the end of a given calendar year". Could anyone know the website/database where I can check info about athletes' IAAF world leading list, who competed, for example, in 1980s and 1990s (eg Raido Mägi)?--Estopedist1 (talk) 09:09, 9 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

World Athletics has them from 2001 [1], not sure about the older lists. But you can aim for the WP:GNG which is more important anyway. Pelmeen10 (talk) 10:37, 29 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
