Media Career

During her career Grey became something of a media personality appearing in, amongst other programs, the BBC Food Program and Three's Company with Geraint Evans. Hmm, this is quite similar to the following text from the website:

She appeared on the Food Programme where she reviewed cookery books, Three's Company with Geraint Evans, Phone In programmes on Radio about singing, one with Benjamin Luxon, Pebble Mill at One with Dame Eva Turner

How about something like:

"During her career Grey became something of a media personality, appearing alongside baritone Geraint Evans in the sitcom Three's Company and with her former music teacher Dame Eva Turner in one of several radio phone-ins discussing singing. She took part in BBC Radio 4's Food Program and was photographed by David Bailey for The Observer."

Threes Company. You know, I don't know! Threes Company in the USA was the American remake of the UK's "Man About The House. I think Threes Company in the UK was a chat show but might be wrong. I shall try and find outTucker ^talk 21:15, 15 March 2010 (UTC)

Grammar

I notice that the construction "was to become" or variations on that have been used repeatedly. Instead of "was to become" why don't we simply say "became"?   Will Beback  talk  23:15, 15 March 2010 (UTC)

Sounds good to me. Alas, it maybe something to do with Latin Masters as a child, but then perhaps I should have listened more when he said' "diligentia maximum etiam mediocris ingeni subsidium". Mind you Will, I was only able to find one instance (see what I mean about the lack diligentia maximum ?) which I have corrected. Would you be kind enough to search and destroy the others? By the way Will, is there a tool that allows you to do that clever thing with the references you did which stops the same reference repeating in the ref list every-time it used? An Ibid tool if you will? Tucker ^talk 00:10, 16 March 2010 (UTC)
