His studio was in Florence?[edit]

The lede states "although Leonardo's studio was in Florence..." but Leonardo moved about, living in Rome, Milan and France for significant periods. And when he was at his most influential, he seems to have had a studio in Milan. At least most of his followers named in the article appear to have been Lombards: Boltraffio, Solario, Solai etc. It seems reductive to just say "his studio was in Florence". Perhaps someone better informed than me could reword this? METRANGOLO1 (talk) 10:38, 13 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Now " the large group of artists who worked in the studio of, or under the influence of, Leonardo da Vinci. They were artists of Italian Renaissance painting, although his influence extended to many countries within Europe." Not ideal, but better. Johnbod (talk) 14:26, 13 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
