Notability?[edit]

The article was previously deleted for failing notability criteria. To me, the article still appears to fail WP:NFILM. The lack of any independent, reliable references which covers the film in these three years since kind of proves the AFD was right the first time. The references are listings of where the film was shown or news stories about the events in the film, but not of the film itself. Perhaps the incidents are notable enough for an article creation but not the film. Ifnord (talk) 18:46, 23 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • I disagreed with the deletion decision from before. The incident itself was notable, and it is a shame that it didn't get more press. I did add one review of the film. It's gpt plenty of sources, and I think it helps document a unique moment in time. --evrik (talk) 03:09, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The incident may be notable. The film, the subject of the article, is not. Ifnord (talk) 20:15, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Are you suggesting the article get renamed the Firing of Len Lanzi and it all get reworked? --evrik (talk) 21:58, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I went ahead and reworked it. --evrik (talk) 03:59, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, you did. It was improbable that an eleven minute, independent film with no real coverage would sustain an article on its own. However, by incorporating it into an article that obviously meets notability criteria you have saved it. Ifnord (talk) 22:00, 8 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
