About the Use of Lekythoi[edit]

I'd say claiming "[lekyhtoi were] used for anointing dead bodies of unmarried women" requires a citation. The current wording of the article gives an impression of lekythoi being used solely or almost solely with burials of unmarried women, which, I believe, is not exactly true. Just taking a look at the paintings should make that clear (what kind of an unmarried woman gets put into her grave with a scene depicting dead Sarpedon, for example). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sjlain (talk • contribs) 14:33, 5 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
