hard to understand[edit]

all this "move your leg 30 degrees, then her leg 45 degrees" stuff is confusing and doesn't help you visualize the end result of those movements, which is probably the most important thing someone could learn from this article. 68.59.95.121 22:08, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

nevermind, apparently i was viewing an old version of the page without the image. 68.59.95.121 22:09, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
This is still rather hard to understand. Can a version be written in plain more concise langauge. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 62.85.3.2 (talk) 09:27, 19 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]
I completely agree, and can't stop laughing. ←BenB4 03:11, 23 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I noticed, It looks like the technique part has the woman lying on one side, and the advantages part has her lying the other way. Could be confusing. Maybe in the technique part someone could put in some simple line silhouette drawings as step one, two, three etc. That could be done in a non-obscene way.Annonieymouse (talk) 12:40, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
This remains very confusing. The illustration is less than helpful. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.107.109.254 (talk) 03:34, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I find the illustration confusing and unhelpful.bebye 12:40, 7 July 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.2.54.228 (talk) [reply]

It is complicated and hard to follow. Before the complex "technique" section which describes how to do it, there should be a description of the outcome of this position, written in no more than two clear sentences. Then the how to explanation should start.

Advantage/Disadvantages[edit]

This page needs an advantage and disadvantage sections. Disinclination 06:04, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As for the advantages, they are listed. -62.219.97.64 (talk) 14:51, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

the picture is not helping[edit]

The 2-dimensional stick figure drawing is really not assisting in understanding or visualizing this position. Either a more detailed, realistic drawing, or perhaps a non-pornographic photograph would be a good idea.Snottywong 23:30, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, what the hell is that picture.--AnY FOUR! (talk) 16:58, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I have removed the image as it does not really aid in visualizing the subject (at least not as much as the more realistic illustration that is already in the article). –BLACK FALCON (TALK) 23:23, 22 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Image problem[edit]

The newer image (the man and the woman, not the stick figures) depicts something other than the LCP. Note that the man's thighs are both between the woman's, whereas in the LCP they should alternate.

I have updated the article with a newer image, which I hope presents a somewhat more clear depiction of the lateral coital position. -SeedFeeder (talk) 22:03, 23 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

image still confusing[edit]

The article text states that "this position leaves the partners both fully supported by the bed (the man on his back, the woman on her right shoulder and torso)", whereas in the picture, the woman is lying atop the man, and supported by him, her knee, and perhaps her right hand. The two don't match at all. 184.78.155.105 (talk) 09:39, 16 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

short article[edit]

would have liked if it had more info 2601:742:8000:E43:E8F0:80D5:6474:8EA9 (talk) 01:31, 16 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
