Is Lani's age info correct?[edit]

There seems to be a major discrepancy here: if Lani Groves was born in 1980, as the article states, how was she able to perform Stormer's singing voice in Jem when she was only 7 years old? — Preceding unsigned comment added by LaVey Charkus Veros BeruDeJusu (talkcontribs) 05:18, 3 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

More than one Lani Groves[edit]

There seems to be more than one Lani Groves. The Lani Groves I was named after (I was born in 1978) is not the one referred to in this article. The first one I believe was Hawaiian and a back up singer for artists such as Stevie Wonder. She also sang backup for my uncle Michael Boothman. I'm not sure how to create a second record for the Lani Groves I've mentioned above. But I think there needs to be one created. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lboothman (talkcontribs) 20:46, 6 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I was wondering the same thing. There's a Lani Groves credited as a singer on the 1980 Steely Dan album Gaucho, and with a lot of writing credits: profile on discogs Schrovin (talk) 18:58, 27 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
