while the magazine isn't frequently referenced in third-party literature (although this isn't uncommon) - which is an explanation of the admittedly rather unfortunate lack of references from elsewhere - I've demonstrated that a number of notable people hanve - in the past and today - contributed original writing.

That the magazine has existed for 115 years I figure is in itself an achievement; as it is pointed out in The American Journal of Economics and Sociaology vol. 62, p. 615, 2003 "Land and Liberty is now the longest-lived Georgist project in history, but still it struggles to gain the attention of an unheeding world." The American Journal etc is one academic peer-reviewed journal which has in the past referenced the magazine (cf http://books.google.com/books?lr=&ei=4wR7SvDVK6noygSRm-HNDA&as_brr=0&q="Land+and+Liberty"+-russia+-anarchist+-mexico+"american+journal" which has references to the Russian and Mexican movements filtered out).

I've also deleted the 'no footnotes' header as obviously now there is.
