"LaChanze"[edit]

In what language is it supposed to mean "one who is charmed"? Can we get a cite?

How are "Broadway appearances" determined? Does it have to be original broadway cast? If not, she was in How to Succeed in Business... in the 1995 revival - I believe she was an understudy for Lillias White in the part of Miss Jones.

Removing non-major nominations[edit]

I have removed nominations for the following three types of awards from the 'Award and nominations' section because they don't have the same stature as the others, which should be necessary for a high-profile actor such as LaChanze:

  • Antonyo Award - Not widely known and only established in 2020
  • AUDELCO Award - Not widely known
  • Broadway.com Audience Choice Awards - Voted for by the public, not considered prestigious — Preceding unsigned comment added by Finecolours (talkcontribs) 01:28, 29 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
