Is this article correct? or does Rhin-Rhône refer to the currently non-existent link between Strasbourg and Lyon?

Sorry, a bit over keen with the copy and paste... Have fixed it. Willkm 21:49, 15 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have added some new data liberally translated from the French site. I have removed the translation request and plan to add more data later. -mrnice

I've completely re-written and expanded from the French wiki article, in my ongoing translation project of all the LGV articles Seann 13:51, 20 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

My edit[edit]

I did some copyediting, and in that course I inadvertently seem to have deleted a lot of sentences inserted by Geoking66. I did that because, without looking at any prior versions of the text, a lot of those sentences seemed redundant to me. Also, the anglicisation of words like Franche-Comté -> the Frank and Île-de-France -> Island-of-France is, as far as I know, rather uncommon (WP has no redirect from "the Frank" to Franche-Comté). If anyone feels my edits have done unjustice to the text, please revert me. Blur4760 19:43, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Strasbourg - Mulhouse[edit]

Is a line Strasbourg - Mulhouse in project? It seems not yet. If not we should change article from "LGV Rhin-Rhône is a high-speed railway line under construction running between Strasbourg and Lyon" to "... between Mulhouse and Lyon". Please confirm this issue. -- Armando82 13:11, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:Tgvlogo2000.jpg[edit]

The image Image:Tgvlogo2000.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Inaccurate map[edit]

Some of sections of LGVs shown on the map (added recently by "Classical geographer") do not exist and are not under construction, therefore the map is inaccurate.

What is the point of adding such an inaccurate map in an encyclopedia? Kowart (talk) 20:27, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
