I just watched "The Kid From Texas (1950)" and Kurt Neuman was in the credits as the director. I do not care to learn how to edit this but wanted someone to look into doing that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.58.165.136 (talk) 00:34, 18 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Is the statement of his entombment at Utter McKinley Cemetery correct? FindaGrave tells believably that would be Home of Peace Memorial Park, East Los Angeles? I live in Germany and am unable to check on-site. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.53.196.196 (talk) 17:17, 27 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Year of Birth[edit]

As part of my research for Kurt Neumann for FürthWiki I stumbled over a "disagreement" . Here in Wiki and in the Film Database IMdB is Neumann given as Year of Birth 1908. This does not seem plausible to me, as this would mean that Neumann must have studied at a young age between 12 and 20 and already performed as a Director in the age from 22-23. This did not appear to me particularly plausible. By my Research i found this facts:

  • Find a Grave - Foto from the Grave from Kurt Neumann Hompepage and
  • "Celebrities in Los Angeles Cemeteries: A Directory" Googlebooks

Both are based on a different date of birth, namely from the year 1898 - what the Reasons mentioned above - seems a little more plausible. Furthermore, I 'm assuming that the familymembers have hardly mistake when they wrote the year of birth on the grave stone, so that the year of birth 1908 can not seem to agree. It is also not clear where the yera of birth 1908 comes from, so I personally would be inclined to change the year of birth. --Kasa Fue (talk) 10:36, 25 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Death[edit]

The article asserts that Neumann died of natural causes, but offers no source for this. Meanwhile, several other sources contend that it was suicide. I have no idea what the truth is, but I hope someone can resolve this.Jhlechner (talk) 17:07, 27 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
