Edit problem[edit]

There is an issue with the content of this article. The amount that shows does not correspond to the amount that is there when you click the edit button. I can't figure out what happened to hide the information as the text in question is not hidden. Anybody want to troubleshoot?-MBK004 21:02, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Can you clarify? Are you using the edit tab at the top of the page? Or are you using "section edit" within the article? Is more or less info appearing when you hit edit than displays on the page? Arthurrh 21:08, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Exactly there is a huge amount of info that should be in the page and is in the history that you can edit by using the edit tab at the top of the page, but in the current version of the article and when the preview is used the info does not show up.-MBK004 21:10, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Doerre Intermediate - Partial[edit]

Most Doerre students are zoned to Klein High School if they live in neighborhoods south of Spring-Cypress Road. Doerre students who live north of Spring-Cypress Road are zoned to Klein Oak High School.

Kleb Intermediate - All[edit]

All students are zoned to Klein High Schools. Neighborhoods in the Kleb boundary includes, but not all: Champion Forest, the Champions area along Champion Forest Drive in Klein ISD, Kleinwood, the Wimbledon area including Wimbledon Estates, Wimbledon Forest, Wimbledon Park, and Wimbledon Champions, as well as The Vintage.

Strack Intermediate - Partial[edit]

Some of Strack students are zoned to Klein High School which includes Spring Creek area, etc. Strack students living north of Louetta Road, west of Kuykendahl Rd, south of Spring-Cypress Road west of the Doerre Intermediate boundary are zoned to Klein High School. Other Strack students living outside of the Klein boundary are zoned to Klein Collins High School. Strack students attend Klein High School, Klein Collins High School, Klein Oak High School or Klein Forest High School.

All Brill students are in the Klein High School boundary.

Ehrhardt Elementary - All[edit]

All Ehrhardt students are in Klein High School boundary.

The Future of Klein High School[edit]

Due to a bond election to be held on May 10, 2008, among many items affecting the district, in order to improve security and bring buildings up to code, 11 of KHS's 15 buildings have been proposed to be destroyed in 2011 in order to build a new, single building to replace the 11 destroyed ones. The plan is to move the staff and students to High School #5 (also proposed in the bond) and proceed with the project, and move them back to the new building in 2013. The cost is projected to be over $130 million, to be along with proposed high school #5 also at $130 million, putting these two schools as the most expensive high schools in the Houston area. The only other high school plan to come close is Cypress-Fairbanks plan for a new high school in 2011 at just under $100 million.<ref>[http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/metropolitan/5696260.html]{{dead link|date=June 2008}}</ref> As stated earlier, the fate of those 11 buildings including the Main Building, Auditorium, Career Center, LTSC, Homemaking, Dance, High Rise, Aux Gym, Cafeteria & Commons, all T-buildings, and a 1971 addition to the main building, all were decided on May 10, 2008 with the passing of the bond by a close margin of 100 votes.
