"Killing"? Call it what it is: Murder[edit]

The heading is wrong, it should be "The murder of Richard Ward" 75.118.175.118 (talk) 15:17, 26 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

He was killed by bullet shots. --Mhhossein talk 05:25, 27 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Murder is a legal classification of a death. The officer was not convicted of murder. Killing, Death or Homicide are the appropriate terms User:BillyBobMcgee

Pill statement[edit]

The statement “appeared to put an anti-anxiety pill in his mouth” should be changed to “appeared to put a pill in his mouth.” You cannot possibly claim to know what a pill is simply by seeing it in someone’s hand. Even if you could, it is not shown in the bodycam footage. The paragraph is describing what happened step by step. It should not be using information gained after the fact by an autopsy report to imply that the two deputies knew the pill was only an anxiety prescription. 166.196.107.57 (talk) 17:50, 28 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed; done. The "anti-anxiety" is mentioned appropriately in Aftermath. Mitch Ames (talk) 04:48, 29 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
