In the controversies section about shooting bud light it says he shot a "semiautomatic". It was actually an "automatic" machine gun. 63.155.46.82 (talk) 07:51, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Primary instruments[edit]

Is guitar a primary Kid instrument? I think not. Kid Rock is known for singing, not playing the guitar. - FlightTime (open channel) 18:28, 2 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Bowling is life: Please chime in with your rational on this issue, since you keep reverting me. @Binksternet: I would really appreciate your opinion here, thanks. - FlightTime (open channel) 19:05, 2 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Yes he's known for singing but he definitely plays a lot of guitar. He was on the cover of Guitar World in November 1999. List both. Binksternet (talk) 03:12, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
And he has been credited for playing guitar on every album since Devil Without a Cause. See the credits section of each album's article. Bowling is life (talk) 04:13, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

So I think that all shows that guitar is one of his primary instruments. Removing it seems rather pointless and does nothing to improve the article. Including guitar in the infobox does not harm the article and doesn't overload the instrument parameter because there aren't other instruments included other than vocals. I never said he didn't play guitar, I'm saying he's better known as a singer. You can (after the guitar) list boat driver, he does that too. - FlightTime (open channel) 21:49, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Just because he is mostly known as a singer doesn't mean we can't list both. The musical style section even talks about how he plays multiple instruments. Why not list the most prominent one? Including it does nothing to harm the article. Plus, removing it and starting a discussion about something so trivial is ridiculous. Two other editors besides myself support it's inclusion.
