There is another reference for this article, which will be added as soon as I remember the author's name. It is Ken Colbung, the catalyst from Hunt, Lyall (ed) Westralian Portraits.


There is a problem with the dates in this article. It says that he was born in 1931, but that he was 21 when he joined the army in 1950. If he was 21 in 1950, that means he was born in 1928 or 1929. If he was born in 1931, he would have been 18 or 19 depending upon the month he enlisted.
