Fennec and Raccoon[edit]

@Maplestrip: They've appeared at the end of every episode and are featured prominently in promotion material (compare Kaban, who doesn't show up at all in File:Kemono_Friends_Anime_Key_Visual_Art.jpg) despite their minor role so far. I think it is worth having sections for them under the Characters header. —suzukaze (tc) 22:23, 25 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, do they appear after the credits? I've been lax with sitting through the credits with this show... They definitely haven't been appearing in the show proper, as I don't remember these characters at all. I don't know how much weight these characters should be given - I've never been fond of character lists like these in the first place (hence the trimming). ~Mable (chat) 22:39, 25 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Maplestrip:They do appear after the credits roll in almost every episode, from the first one. And they reveal more and more information, episode after episode. Surely they are of certain importance. -Greeneese (talk) 09:07, 15 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I watched the post-credits sequences of all episodes last week, so now I know who these characters are. The fact that you can completely miss them without even realizing it is a pretty big issue. Honestly, I'd usually just say "see if reliable sources have noted them in any way", but I know character lists on anime-related articles don't really use reliable sources and tend to be primarily original research, so I really don't know and hardly even care. We can also just wait until the show (season?) finishes airing and decide then if we want to expand the section to include those two characters, as they are likely to get a more prominent role in future episodes, though that's WP:CRYSTAL. ~Mable (chat) 10:05, 15 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Zoo collaboration and Grape-kun[edit]

Not long ago the makers of this series had a collaboration with a zoo, which put up cardboard images of the different characters in their species' pens. Most of the animals paid no mind, but one 20-year-old Humboldt Penguin known as "Grape-kun" became famous when he took a huge interest in the cutout of Hululu. He'd sit and stare at the cutout nonstop, climb up and sit next to her; he was apparently even seen engaging in courtship rituals from what I heard. Wouldn't it be appropriate to include some information on this collaboration and the popularity of this old penguin that decided to make Hululu his mate? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.197.193.213 (talk) 19:52, 19 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Tobu Zoo collaboration: yes.
Grape-kun: my first reaction is no but it seems he's made television so whatever. —suzukaze (tc) 05:50, 23 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Post-airing reappraisal[edit]

Currently, the article only mentions a Western rating from April. Domestic criticism might be something to add. Suzukaze-c (talk) 07:09, 26 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

"Dispute"[edit]

The dispute section seems to be written in a way that suggests that the stepping down was voluntary. Also it is missing one of the most important parts of the controversy, the fact that the rest of team also resigned after Kadokawa's statement. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Keyakakushi46 (talkcontribs) 11:52, 18 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hululu?[edit]

Supposedly Grape-kun fell in love with a cutout of the character Hululu. There is no mention of this character here. It needs to be added to the character list.--Auric talk 15:28, 21 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

English Dub[edit]

If there is going to be one in English, when will the English Dub premiere? 104.3.132.111 (talk) 02:57, 3 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox[edit]

Since anime season 1 and season 2 are done by different persons I think the anime should be separated to two different sections. John123521 (Talk-Contib.) 23:41, 27 June 2019 (UTC) I agree. Kemono Friends 2 is one of those spin-offs which should have been labelled as spin-offs. Some lore aspects contradict each other (in season 1, massive Cell Alien get destroyed simply by being lured in the sea water (it gets dissolved). In season 2, "Ceruleum" somehow exists as a separate entity and manages just fine in oceanic water).Uchyotka (talk) 15:07, 20 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
