– We currently have this village and an article on the family which gets less views [[1]] and is already naturally disambiguated and the other surname holders. The surname derives from the village. A hatnote could be added for the family and the surname article per WP:TWODABS. Crouch, Swale (talk) 09:55, 15 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose. Kemble, Gloucestershire sounds like a place. "Kemble" sounds like a person. The current set up works. Read WP:TITLECHANGES. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 10:51, 15 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds like a person? How? WP:TWODABS would work well enough in this situation considering we don't have content for the surname and the family gets less views as well as the long term significance of the place. Crouch, Swale (talk) 12:35, 15 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hatnotes, clutter at the top of the page, so that you can have a shorter less useful title and more title whitspace? No. —SmokeyJoe (talk) 22:40, 16 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The title Kemble is more useful, its simpler and I have provided evidence that this is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for the term Kemble. It is highly likely—much more likely than any other single topic, and more likely than all the other topics combined—to be the topic sought when a reader searches for Kemble (especially as it appears to family is commonly called Kemble family) and has substantially greater enduring notability and educational value than any other topic associated with that term due to the fact that the village has been there for hundreds of years and will probably still be there long after the people are forgotten about as well as being where they derive from. I also don't see how TITLECHANGES applies, this is not a particularly controversial title and is being discussed here as recommended. Crouch, Swale (talk) 05:21, 17 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
