and the town library[edit]

I stated in this article that Kate's house, Quillcote, is now the town library. I had proper sources for the statement. Someone twice changed this to "near" the town library. I asked for a source; one was eventually offered, but the link is dead. I have contacted the selectmen's office, and the secretary forwarded my inquiry to the librarian, who replied that "Kate Douglas Wiggin founded the Salmon Falls Library in 1911. It's located in a building that was a originally a tea house, then in 1911, the upstairs became a town library while the downstairs remained a tea house used for social gatherings. Eventually the whole building was used as a town library and continues as Hollis Maine's municipal library. Quilcotte was Kate's summer home and is located just around the corner from the Salmon Falls Library." So the other person knew what he/she was talking about, and my sources were wrong. Anti-suffragism[edit]

I've come across information about Wiggin's position as an anti-suffragist. I'm planning on adding that to this article.ScoutHarris (talk) 16:22, 27 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
