Um, why is the neutrality of this page in question? --[[User:JonMoore|— —JonMoore 20:24, 29 May 2006 (UTC)]] 20:06, 4 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I assume the wording "UPN was outraged by KJZZ's demands and transferred" seems rather un-encyclopedic in tone and isn't a direct quote or attibuted to a particular person, group or document. I would imagine if the UPN section could be reworded with something closer to a direct quote or a more specific attribution then I can't see why anyone would object to removing the NPOV tag. KJZZ and The Daily Show[edit]

I was thinking of adding this passage under the heading of trivia, and I was wondering if it was a little too much for an article like this. I still remember the segment to this day and thought it was hilarious and noteworthy...

Trivia[edit]

When KJZZ had its UPN affiliation pulled, Jon Stewart and The Daily Show made fun of KJZZ for the station's decision to object to the network's programming model, Larry Miller, and also insinuated jokingly that the station's call letters came from a derogatory term for semen [1].

If it's too much, I won't put it in...Nate 10:07, 28 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

horse shit!

why shouldn't encyclopaedias have emotions just as strong as the rest of us?

why do you think the whole concept started!

Merge notice[edit]

It's not standard practice on Wikipedia for a television station's list of transmitters to be a separate article from the one on the television station itself. Is there a specific reason it should be allowed to stand in this case? Bearcat 10:24, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion of merging these lists ongoing at Talk:KTVX#Merge notice and a related deletion debate. Cool Hand Luke 10:33, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Kjzz header logo.gif[edit]

Image:Kjzz header logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Orphaned references in KJZZ-TV[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of KJZZ-TV's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "rei":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 19:44, 20 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
