Dates of FCC tenure?[edit]

Survived the holocaust??[edit]

Porker of the Month, May 2010, FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski[edit]

Citizens Against Government Waste (CAGW) has named Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Julius Genachowski Porker of the Month, May 2010, for his recent decision to push forward with an ill-conceived and possibly extra-legal plan to impose federal regulations on the Internet. The plan would treat the Internet by rules similar to those which currently pertain to the telephone industry under Title II of the Communications Act. "Chairman Julius Genachowski is leading the FCC into uncharted waters, straight into a legal headwind. In April 2010, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia laid down an unambiguous marker: The FCC has no authority to force Internet service providers (ISPs) to give equal treatment to all Internet content flowing through their networks, nor can it regulate ISPs under Title II without Congress's express authority. The agency is out of its depth and will end up sinking time and the taxpayers' money into harassing an industry that is functioning very well without ham-fisted government regulations," said CAGW President Tom Schatz. For launching this damn-the-torpedoes (and the taxpayers), full-speed-ahead quest to regulate the Internet, CAGW names FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski its May, 2010 Porker of the Month. Current chairperson and commissioners --and-- which INFOBOX to use?[edit]

I just finished redoing the list at Current chairperson and commissioners into a sortable table.

I was _THEN_ going to place an "INFOBOX" into the three commissioner's articles who are now missing one such box.
BUT... It turns out that Julius Genachowski has a Infobox Politician infobox, but Robert M. McDowell has a Infobox person type of an infobox.
Does anyone have an opinion as to which one to use on the other three commissioners, -AND- which one to convert over?

FYI: My own personal vote is to convert Robert M. McDowell's infobox from the 'person' type to the 'politician' type.

The Wikipedia bio of Martha Raddatz says "Raddatz resides in Arlington, Virginia, with her third husband, journalist Tom Gjelten. She has two children from previous marriages: a daughter, Greta Bradlee, with Benjamin Bradlee, Jr.; and a son, Jake Genachowski.[9] She was previously married to Julius Genachowski, father of Jake and current head of the FCC under the Obama Administration.[10] "

Conflict of interest editing[edit]

According to the Washington Post, the FCC "has been working with a third party to redo Gena­chowski’s page, according to a senior official." I believe it would be prudent to check through the contributions of User:Sazerac49, who began editing this article on August 23, 2012 and has not made any edits besides those to this page.
