If somebody gets round to writing up some of the locations in the film, I think the housing estate where the two gay guys supposedly live is the Whittington Estate on the Camden side of Dartmouth Park Hill, with the overgrown foliage of Highgate Cemetery visible next to it. It's been a few years since I've been there. It's unclear quite how they manage to teleport up there after saying they live round the corner from a restaurant within a short space of the theatre (presumably Soho). So, what was the film's budget?
I have a feeling that it was either near or more than the $38 million the film took in.
If so, then no matter what the accolades, financially the film is/was a "box office bomb" and that should be stated in the lede.
