List of TV appearances[edit]

There's a long list of TV appearances, which seem to be mostly guest slots, while little attention is paid to his lengthy movie career. Would anyone object if I removed the list of TV appearances or cut it in length and merged with the filmography? I haven't checked, but I assume there should be a good amount about him in books as well as articles. I've added a bit about his film appearances, but there is more that can be added.ScottyBerg (talk) 20:36, 14 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I've also removed a lengthy discussion of the African-American film industry that isn't relevant to this article at all, and fact-tagged a statement in the lead re his being the first Puerto Rican star of said industry, not mentioned anywhere else in the article and not sourced. There is much to be said on Hernandez as a pioneering film actor; we don't need to overstate the case or pad this article. There seems to be a lot of sourcing out there.
