Possible conflict of interest

This article has significant edits by a user with wikipedia name "Dirk Brinkman". The same name of Joyce Murray's spouse.

Looked up when and who made this comment ---01:26, 2 May 2011‎ 137.82.157.67(talk)‎ The UNSIGNED anonymous contribution was inserted as a first time entry using just an IP address not accessible by talk. DB had made a very small number of contributions prior and has not made one for 18 months. Everything checks out in the article, references have been added, many more could be added from the Hansard coverage of the BC and Federal speeches of JM. The unsigned anonymous comment should be discounted. It was actually made on the date of the last federal election May 2nd 2011 --Vancouver2 (talk) 19:57, 20 January 2013 (UTC)

POV tag guidelines say "The editor who adds the tag should first discuss concerns on the talk page, pointing to specific issues that are actionable within the content policies, and should add this tag only as a last resort. In the absence of such a discussion, or where it remains unclear what the NPOV violation is, the tag may be removed by any editor."

There is an absence of discussion on this talk page and only an unsigned statement. There has been much water under the bridge since 2011 when it was put in place. Removing tag therefore.--Vancouver2 (talk) 18:25, 22 January 2013 (UTC)

Andrew Coyne

If comments Andrew Coyne made on the At Issue panel, which I don't know is a proper source or not, are going to be used in this article it should be pointed out that he didn't actually agree with Joyce Murray's plan of just running one candidate in some Conservative ridings. Coyne said that the parties should run on one platform, with electoral cooperation as a key plank, and only one candidate in each riding. I think it should also be noted that Murray's idea was criticized by the others on the panel. Newfoundlander&Labradorian (talk) 02:11, 4 February 2013 (UTC)

It was Coyne's final quick words when he returned to the subject that day after discussion of other items----taken down from a recording replayed over and over to be sure heard correctly. Editing however to reflect your concern and also adding reference to article with result of interview with Elizabeth May on a similar date when said says its OK idea with Greens.Vancouver2 (talk) 19:59, 6 February 2013 (UTC)

You're basically taking his opinions out of context and it's documented in many places she's the only person who supports co-operation. Newfoundlander&Labradorian (talk) 23:09, 6 February 2013 (UTC)

Your reference and wording better. Vancouver2 (talk) 01:41, 7 February 2013 (UTC)

Dilbit shipping

To pump bitumen in a pipeline it has to be diluted and is pumped as "dilbit"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dilbit. The diluting solvent would be separated at the final destination after the dilbit arrives via a tanker. Other tankers would return the solvent to Canada and the solvent would be then piped back to Alberta along a second pipeline running along the same path. Refining before shipping would tend in the direction of eliminating the return pipeline and also the returning tanker cargo. Vancouver2 (talk) 19:39, 11 February 2013 (UTC)

Clean up discussion

Approx 15 references added since Feb 5th tag added main page. News going in is being supported by references.

Its now better referenced and has fewer quality mistakes but are we there yet ? Vancouver2 (talk) 20:02, 14 February 2013 (UTC)

I'm to busy to work on the page, but every single statement in an article should be referenced. With the references coming after the period. Newfoundlander&Labradorian (talk) 22:34, 14 February 2013 (UTC)

References now after periods. From 19th out of Canada back mid March. Will run through again before 19th. Vancouver2 (talk) 02:50, 15 February 2013 (UTC)
