Tichborne relation?[edit]

I would like to see confirmation that John Tillinghast was related to the Tichborne family. My genealogy says his mother was Alice Pardon. Old genealogies say his brother Pardon Tillinghast (my direct ancestor) was married to an Elizabeth Tichborne but this has been discredited. Pardon was married to Sarah Browne.
