Improving this article[edit]
I'm hoping to improve this article about one of the leading philanthropists and founders of the Clapham Sect of Christian social reformers of the eighteenth century. Please join me, especially if you are interested in these subjects, or in the 18th century or Georgian England in general.
The task is not helped by the fact that there are few printed biographies about John Thornton, and most of them are out of print or unavailable. I am intending to be able to provide references and inline citations, as this was one of the main criticisms of this article. Agendum (talk) 14:55, 24 January 2021 (UTC)
