Updates to links and company name[edit]

I’m an employee of OCLC, and as such have access to ongoing biographical updates for people who are members (past and present) of our board. I’ve noticed that the following updates/corrections should be made to John’s page:

1. WebMediaBrands has changed its name to Mediabistro Inc. and their website is mediabistro.com

2. Update reference #9 with a link to the resource mentioned: http://www.worldcat.org/title/whos-who-in-science-and-engineering-2008-2009/oclc/145554910&referer=brief_results

3. Reference link #7 'IndustryWeek: Printer Friendly' gives a Page Not Found. Propose changing it to 'R&D Stars To Watch | IndustryWeek' and set the link to: http://www.industryweek.com/companies-amp-executives/rd-stars-watch

4. The link 'Lehigh University College of Engineering' in professional memberships which is http://www3.lehigh.edu/engineering/ is invalid and should be changed to http://www.lehigh.edu/~inpcreng/

5. The link 'IBM's Grassroots Revival | Fast Company' in References is not broken, but is being redirected; so for the sake of speed should be changed from http://www.fastcompany.com/magazine/11/ibm.html to http://www.fastcompany.com/32902/ibms-grassroots-revival

6. The 'Get Connected' link in the IBM Years section is missing a trailing slash and so to speed up browsing should be changed from http://patrickweb.com/points_of_view/papers/get-connected to http://patrickweb.com/points_of_view/papers/get-connected/

7. The 'doctorate of health administration at the University of Phoenix' link in the Education and Personal Facts is redirecting and so should be kept up to date and changed from http://www.phoenix.edu/programs/degree-programs/nursing-and-health-care/doctoral/dha/v001.html to http://www.phoenix.edu/programs/degree-programs/nursing-and-health-care/doctoral/dha.html

If anyone else has additional (or better) information, please let me know. Thanks.

I noticed on reading a recent blog post on John's blog that he has a new and very nice photo of himself. I'm new to adding photos to Wikipedia, but am working out how to get that newer picture uploaded onto his page. Andyhavens (talk) 21:22, 6 May 2017 (UTC) Andy Havens May 6 2017[reply]

John has told me that he'll post a CC license for his new picture on his website in the near future. Until then, I've reverted to the previous picture. Andyhavens (talk) 22:34, 6 May 2017 (UTC) Andy Havens May 6 2017[reply]
