Portrait of John Hussey[edit]

Portraits at this time were often done some decades after the person had died. The full portrait is on the Meghan Markle page and Lord Hussey looks suitably mid-late 16th century to me. The portrait is from the archives at the Lincolnshire Council UK. Maybe we should replace it with the small head shot on this page?101.189.107.58 (talk) 12:56, 20 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The portrait in the sidebar is not that of Lord John Hussey. It is thought to be a relative, Sir Edward Hussey (1580-1648), and is on display at Doddington Hall, Lincolnshire. I think there is a copy at Prestwold Hall, Leics. (WJA, 23.9.18)

Correct?[edit]

Lord Hussey was Chamberlain to Henry VIII's daughter Mary when Mary was a princess (although some courtiers refused to refer to her by her "princess" title - Hussey's wife did so and this landed her in the Tower too).
