BLP sources - see page top notice[edit]

The cited sources do not alone assert notability and the page may soon be proposed for deletion. Coverage must be significant - a single published source may be inadequate while others may not be reliable. Further information regarding the type and number sources required to verify claims made in biographies of performing artists, and establishing notability can be found at WP:RS, WP:GNG, and WP:ENT. --Kudpung (talk) 02:55, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Biographical information[edit]

This article still reads slightly promotional about his career and includes no personal biographical information such as date and place of birth, early education, family status etc. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 05:32, 11 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This article has been largely cribbed from various official bios by a series of anonymous IPs, hence the inappropriate promotional and unencyclopedic tone. The IPs are also removing maintenance tags, etc. I propose to re-write this in a couple of days. If the IPs continue to revert, I'd suggest semi-protection for the page. Re-write[edit]

I have copyedited and restructured the article to remove the unencyclopedic language, puffery and large chunks pasted in from the subject's website. I have also started adding references (with more to come) and removed "upcoming engagements". This is an encyclopedia article, not Easterlin's personal web page or advertising space. Performances should be listed after they have taken place, and referenced to reliable sources.

To User:Atj97 as well as the person editing under various anonymous IPs, your past edits have not been helpful. You have variously pasted over past versions of the article with copyright promotional material, removed maintenance tags without correcting the problems they highlighted, removed references and categories, broken the formatting and internal Wikipedia links, etc. etc. Please cut it out before you end up being blocked. Also if either of you have any connection whatsoever with the article's subject or his management, please read Wikipedia:Conflict of Interest and follow the guidelines there scrupulously.
