Rest In Peace[edit]

I know we'll all miss him, hopefully some people will have some common decency and not vandalize this article on such a great person. Rest In Peace Joey Bishop. Tyler Warren (talk/contribs) 02:38, 19 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sinatra Mention[edit]

The mention of Sinatra as being "heavily involved in the outfit" (i.e. the mob) seems a bit harsh, given no sources. Anyone mind if I re-word it? Clockster 09:38, 20 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mad Men character Jimmy Barrett[edit]

I read in the article for Don Draper (character on Mad Men) that the character of Jimmy Barrett (also on Mad Men) is loosely based on Joey Bishop. Seems that it would be an interesting note. Is there any independent confirmation for this? --Schoolmann (talk) 13:11, 8 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Discography[edit]

Joey Bishop was also a musician, so should we add the songs he wrote on his bio page? Matt Campbell (talk) 19:28, 31 January 2018 (UTC)User:Matt CampbellMatt Campbell (talk) 19:28, 31 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

World War II service[edit]

Although Bishop served in the United States army during World War II era, the article said he served stateside. No reliable sources found as of yet state that he served overseas during the war. Accordingly, Category:American military personnel of World War II was removed from the article. Semper Fi! FieldMarine (talk) 18:57, 31 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
