Comment[edit]

I deleted the paragraph about Nell Carter. Carter has her own Wikipedia entry, so there's no reason to cross-post biographical info about her on this page. Furthermore, the entry itself read like a backbiting insult to Carter, and was clearly NPOV.

Not a neutral POV[edit]

There are biased snippets that read like they're from a press package in the body of this article:

However, most of the nation was on Pacitti's side and supported her immensely, although there is no evidence that a national poll or survey of any kind was undertaken to confirm this massive "support" for the performer. Television shows and newspaper articles were full of praises for Pacitti, except for at least one, Variety. -- This entire paragraph should be excised; contains not one shred of verified information.

Although her heart was broken and done publicly, she did her best to keep her chin up. Just like the little red headed girl she portrayed, Pacitti believed the sun would come out tomorrow. - Obviously written from a sympathetic point of view.

Yahoo just ran an article on her - http://new.music.yahoo.com/blogs/realityrocks/123306/is-joanna-pacitti-the-next-carly-smithson/ - Plus it talks about a Barbara Walters interview and there is a link to a youtube vid of the segment. Some good info there for anyone who wants to find it and add it. Deepintexas (talk) 21:16, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is a shamelessly promotional "biography." It reads, as others have pointed out, more like a press release. It does not meet what are supposed to be Wikipedia's quality standards and should be either drastically rewritten to reflect all facets of her career and controversy or removed from the site entirely. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jgrab1 (talkcontribs) 03:35, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Questions[edit]

First of all, could someone add images to Joanna and her album and singles? I don't understand how you put pictures Also, it says Screaming Infidelities (sorry if I spelled that wrong) was released January 2007 and then under tracklisting, to be released. I think right now it's August 2007, unless I'm totally off track and so is the weather and every other person. --Blackleopard11 14:04, 14 August 2007 (UTC) (Talk to me!)[reply]

Do we really need links to her Facebook and MySpace?? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.19.103.90 (talk) 22:05, 1 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Per WP:ELNO, links to social networking pages should be avoided. An exception to this is to allow official web sites maintained by the subject of the page, and giving further information about the subject. If either of those pages can be classified as an official Joanna Pacitti page, in can remain. Otherwise, they should be removed. Cnilep (talk) 16:38, 30 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
