Background of covering Grace Kelly's wedding / Friendship?[edit]

I saw some years ago a french documentary about Grace Kelly based on memoirs of Jinx. This was made after Jinx' death - I guess between 2005-2007. It reflected on the way of Kelly from an actress to a princess. I remember it because its POV was not only subjective but extremly interpretative. And viewing it I felt that many of Jinx interpretations did not fit for me with the pictures / moments she described and left me irritated. But in that documentary it was stated that Jinx met Kelly shortly after she arrived in New York. Kelly did model jobs to finance her acting school and Jinx choosed her for a job. After that they were friends and met regularly until Kelly left NYC for Hollywood. According to the documentary this was the reason why Jinx covering of Kelly's wedding voyage to Europe and Kelly's wedding was detailed, intimate and noteworthy. It also has pictures showing Kelly's very warm welcome of Jinx at the press conference before entering the ocean liner (the SS Constitution??). As I might not rememeber correctly and I do not remember the name of the documentary: any other source for the friendship between both? (And thus that the friendship was one more reason for Jinx detailed covering of the wedding) VINCENZO1492 04:45, 9 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
