This page should not be speedily deleted because... I could use some more time to work on it. Jaykae was an up and coming grime artist who I believe has achieved a solid footing in the UK grime scene alongside greats such as Skepta, Giggs and Sneakbo. He achieves millions of views on his music when uploaded to youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hrSGMg8GTLw) as well as 480,000 monthly listeners on spotify. He has featured on BBC's radio 1xtra which specialises in urban music for a fire in the booth, has had a song on Radio 1's Specialist Chart for 30th January 2018, and even completed a live lounge session on the 7th February 2018 (https://www.bbc.co.uk/music/tracks/n4qcbz). He has an upcoming tour date where he is playing with Mike Skinner from The Streets. --Galtiak

@Galtiak: Wikipedia does not have articles on up-and-coming people or things. Articles are about topics that are already notable, as Wikipedia defines it. WP:BAND describes the notability criteria for musicians - this person must meet these criteria before being considered worthy of inclusion.
Self-published sources that contain user-generated content are not considered reliable, and therefore won't count towards establishing notability. This automatically disqualifies social media sites, blogs and the subject's own personal website(s). We require multiple, non-trivial write-ups in mainstream media that have established reputations for fact-checking and editorial oversight. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 18:20, 9 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Drm310: Definitely true, but Birmingham Mail is an independent source (wouldn't call it reliable, but it's good enough as a credible claim of significance). I removed the A7, but Galtiak, to establish notability it'll certainly need additional independent reliable sources. I couldn't find much, but I'm not too familiar with either the music industry or UK news sources. Appable (talk | contributions) 19:16, 9 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
