2011 establishment[edit]

The district was established in 2011, I seriously doubt it had German historical name.--MyMoloboaccount (talk) 15:12, 29 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The city of Gdansk doesn't. [1] HerkusMonte (talk) 15:20, 29 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Did you read the source ? It says the district was created in 2011, There is nothing on it having German name.--MyMoloboaccount (talk) 15:22, 29 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Did you read the source? "Po II wojnie światowej zmieniono nazwę na Nenkowo" ..."Nadana w 1954 nazwa Jasień" Nenkau - renamed post war: Nenkowo - renamed 1954: Jasień.HerkusMonte (talk) 15:26, 29 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
That's in relation to the village, not the district itself which was established in 2011.--MyMoloboaccount (talk) 15:31, 29 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The formerly independent village was incorporated into the City and is now a city district instead of an independent village. It's still the same place. HerkusMonte (talk) 18:01, 31 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The district is different from the village, even though it includes it.I am curious though about your reasoning, does it mean you finally support merging Koenigsberg into Kaliningrad since it is the same place? Likewise Warsaw shares a lot of history with Germany Herkus-are you claiming all locations in Warsaw and its administrative districts should have Germanised names? For instance are you claiming Wola district should have Germanised name just because Wola Massacre happened there?--MyMoloboaccount (talk) 14:41, 1 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
We use reliable sources, the City of Gdansk is a reliable source for the history of Jasień and they do refer to Nenkau as the historic background of the modern settlement. HerkusMonte (talk) 16:14, 1 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The article is about the modern district not the village. Can I expect an answer if you finally support merging Koenigsberg into Kaliningrad since it is the same place? Likewise Warsaw shares a lot of history with Germany Herkus-are you claiming all locations in Warsaw and its administrative districts should have Germanised names? For instance are you claiming Wola district should have Germanised name just because Wola Massacre happened there?--MyMoloboaccount (talk) 16:16, 1 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
