God bless her. She was a beautiful woman especially when she stood up for what is right and went against McCarthy.

Ditto. I just saw Lost Horizon for the first time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.138.16.2 (talk) 23:43, 9 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. Lost Horizon is a great film and she was fantastic in it. 24.188.207.20 (talk) 00:16, 4 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I can't help noticing that Jane Wyatt's real-life husband's last name is "Ward". Her TV husband on "Father Knows Best" is named "Jim Anderson" (I hope I've posted this correctly, because I wanted to bring it to the attention of somebody who might want to add it to this article, but I'm a very average computer user and had a heck of a time even figuring out how to post this!) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lauraboo6 (talkcontribs) 13:31, 5 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Lauraboo6, you're thinking of two different tv shows. mixing them up is easy to do - both shows are about the same type of family. ward cleaver is the father in "leave it to beaver;" robert anderson, sr., is the father in "father knows best." =) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.57.61.101 (talk) 22:23, 16 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Just A Reminder: Jane Wyatt and Jane Wyman -- Two distinctly different actresses[edit]

Although their last names look and sound somewhat alike, Jane Wyatt and Jane Wyman are two distinctly different actresses. Any changes and updates made to their respective Wikipedia pages should first be carefully researched to make sure that the submitted info is indeed related to the actress in question.

Removed content about parents[edit]

I have removed the "Jr." from Wyatt's father's name and "was a Wall Street investment banker and a descendant of Staten Island Loyalist Christopher Billopp." I have also removed the following about her mother: "was a descendant of the Schuyler family, and was a playwright and a drama critic for Catholic World. Both of her parents were Roman Catholic converts."

All of that content was followed by a citation to this newspaper article, but when I rchecked the article I found none of the information in the two sections quoted above. The quoted content may or may not be correct; I don't know because no source was provided when it was added to the text.

Inserting unsourced content before a citation misleads readers because it appears that the added content came from the cited source. If the content that I removed is factual and someone wants to restore it to the article, please provide a reliable citation to support it. Eddie Blick (talk) 03:04, 24 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
