Comment about birth date[edit]

I notice "James Sharples (1751 or 1752 ...". IS IT POSSIBLE that his birthday was between Jan. 1 and Mar. 24 inclusive? This is because of the change in the calendar when England went to the Gregorian calendar in September 1752; New Year's was shifted from March 25 to January 1. In which year did they first move to America?[edit]

The entry says: "moved to the United States in 1794". Later on it says: "The family left for the United States in 1796". Then it says: "James Sharples established his career in America in 1794". The article on Rolinda Sharples says: "She was only an infant when her parents moved to America in 1793". So, which is it? Liadmalone (talk) 16:33, 8 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
