Who appointed "Big Jim" to the command of 2 PPCLI?[edit]

The passive voice in the paragraph leaves one asking, "Okay, this is important. Why is the name of the official not there?" Was it Guy Simonds, to whom Stone would have been a known quantity? Ab.chaplin (talk) 21:50, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
