Do only scripted series have cast?[edit]

This discussion is based on both this article and Crashletes. As can be seen in the articles, I have a cast section. However, I'm starting to wonder if it's correct or not for a non-scripted series to have a cast listing. If not, how do we list the "recurring," so to speak? Jagger's older brother, Jett, has been in every episode thus far, except for one. Amaury (talk | contribs) 16:13, 20 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

There's a discussion about this, as we speak, in the MOS:TV revisions project – it basically starts here: Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style/Television/August 2016 updates/Cast and characters section#Note for unscripted shows. --IJBall (contribstalk) 17:47, 20 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I'm not entirely sure if "cast" is the best way to call them, but even in reality shows people are "cast" for the show, just playing themselves instead of a character. nyuszika7h (talk) 22:31, 20 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Nyuszika7H: Feel more than free to make improvements to both here and Crashletes if you think you can come up with something better. Amaury (talk | contribs) 03:10, 21 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
