Trivia: There is an 80's american power metal band called Jag Panzer. Both the sound (agressive) and the name were inspired on the german war tank Jagdpanzer. 200.223.68.5 07:15, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Who has invented the distinction between "Panzerjäger" and "Jagdpanzer"? Also heavy tank destroyers such as Jagdtiger or Jagdpanther were also called Panzerjäger Tiger Ausf. B and Panzerjäger Panther, respectively. The German terms "Panzerjäger" or "Jagdpanther" can be used to refer to any tank destroyer.

Agreed. Merging the two articles seems like a sensible move. --GBev1987 (talk) 18:34, 28 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This article needs to be expanded, this tank saw action on the western front in almost all battles. It is the darkhorse whom humiliated the western powers. I heard from a source it deployed all 1000 manufactury built and none were destroyed in combat. I heard this brought fear to the western powers like the t34 did so to the germans. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mvdc1980 (talkcontribs) 15:42, 14 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
