Suggested edit[edit]

Given that none of the sources for this entry call Jade Jagger a "socialite", I think it should be removed. The discussion here explains the issue more broadly. I'd like to add that it is entirely possible to go out and dig up sources which call her a socialite, and I think it would be rather a bit WP:POINTy if someone were to do that for no good reason!

I would simply make the edit myself, but I have a COI here as Jade is a neighbor.--Jimbo Wales (talk) 13:20, 12 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Reading the sources, they do call her a "lifestyle icon". "boho lifestyle queen -- an image on which she's built not just a brand but an empire"; "'I think a lot of people look to me as a sort of lifestyle icon,' says Jade Jagger in the West End office where she is plotting what could be a very lucrative new commercial venture, 'Someone who has made their lifestyle as something that's important to them - the way I live, the way everything aesthetically is.'". Would that be a satisfactory substitute? --GRuban (talk) 13:57, 12 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I think so, yes.--Jimbo Wales (talk) 13:39, 15 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Done Also it looks like she also designs homes, not just jewelry, so added a sentence on that. Have to say the article could use more work - surely designing one dagger-or-ice-pick didn't "revive her career" - but that will have to be done later. --GRuban (talk) 14:12, 16 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
