In search of the real J. Peterman[edit]

It seems that this should be three separate articles—one on the Lexington, Ky. businessman, one on the business itself (by the same name), and one for the Seinfeld character. Alternatively, this could be a single article (J. Peterman) with an introductory paragraph (to disambiguate), followed by three separate sections. The three entities are easy to confuse. In fact, I noticed that another user removed references to the business aspects of J. Peterman and moved the article to its current name (Seinfeld character); this is fine, provided the other articles are created. I will work on this (when I have time), if no one objects. --Tom Allen 21:26, 20 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Horror quote[edit]

The "horror" quote - should that really be referenced to Apocalypse Now or should it be attributed to Heart of Darkness? SpikeZoft 15:21, 9 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

While I'm generally strongly against Wikipedia articles become catalogs of quotations, it would be useful for this article to have a quote that demonstrates the tangential-story style of catalog-item descriptions. Pimlottc 20:09, 5 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Origin of first name[edit]

In what episode was his first name mentioned? BabuBhatt 04:52, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The one in which his mother dies. ("The secret code"?) --ChaChaFut 06:08, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Article Name[edit]

The name of the article should be Jacobo, as in the text. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 211.30.69.12 (talk) 07:37, 19 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Sfohurley.jpg[edit]

Image:Sfohurley.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Jacobo Peterman[edit]

During the subtitles in "The Secret Code," his name is spelled Jacobo, and not the commonly misspelled version of his name, Jacopo. Josephjames21 (talk) 22:52, 14 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
