Vogue interview[edit]

Gleeanon409, I see that you added back the "“prominent queer couple” part here with a different source, so that looks fine for now. But you also added back the Vogue interview part and per this article by Billboard, Jacob only made a cameo; it wasn't a "joint interview" as that edit so states. If you think making a cameo appearance in someone else's interview is noteworthy enough to be included in the article, then I guess I could revise it to make the statement factually accurate instead of removing the inaccurate statement, similar to what I did here [1]. We go by what reliable sources state which so far is “joint interview”, I suppose we can add Billboard characterized Bixenman as making a cameo appearance but I don’t see that distinction as helping the reader understand the subject. Vogue did an interview, they both took part, other media reported on it. Gleeanon409 (talk) 03:05, 18 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
We go by what reliable sources state which so far is “joint interview” Which sources in the article explicitly state that this was a "joint interview"? The source you added for the Vogue interview here doesn't even include the word "joint" anywhere in the article and it only talks about this interview being Troye's... It was a cameo. No reliable source states it was a joint interview. That aside, the cameo is in no way noteworthy. It contributes nothing to Sivan's or Bixenman's notability. The "prominent queer couple" label was given to them by one source: Queerty, so not only is it WP:UNDUE, it also fails WP:NOTINDISCRIMINATE. KyleJoantalk 03:13, 18 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Exactly, it should be removed. And thanks for dealing with this same issue over at Troye Sivan. Some1 (talk) 03:13, 18 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
No problem, but it seems the issue has resurfaced. KyleJoantalk 03:21, 18 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Gleeanon409, are you going to continue with this discussion or are you just going to revert multiple editors to keep what you want? This is both regarding this article and the Troye Sivan's article. Some1 (talk) 03:25, 18 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
