"The Hip"[edit]

I reverted th following passage: "On one occasion, in Louisville on July 19, 1897, he gave "the hip" to Honus Wagner, who was trying to make a triple. "The hip" is when a player nudges his hip at the opposing player while running, in an attempt to throw him off balance. Wagner was making his major league debut and would go on to the Hall of Fame and be considered one of the greatest players of all-time"
